What an amazing couple Leanne and Ray are and I knew from our first meeting that I wanted to photograph their wedding. They had the most relaxed and fun wedding day in an incredibly beautiful setting that is Allington Castle.
All About Friends
Leanne got ready in the majestic bridal room in the castle which links to a minstrels gallery overlooking the Great Hall where the ceremony was to take place. It was a fun morning with lots of laughter and champagne between life long friends.
Ray arrived around noon and I grabbed some shots of the boys and a few guests arriving before heading back to Leanne and the all important dress.
A Great Hall Ceremony
Leanne took a turn around the grounds and arrived back at the castle to make her entrance in style in an Aston Martin! After a few photos with dad, Leanne headed into the ceremony.
The Great Hall is like something out of a fairytale and an amazing setting to host a wedding ceremony, it was magical. They had friends doing readings and the best man was Rays son.
After the ceremony the couple headed into the courtyard and took some time to themselves while everyone lined up for confetti on the bridge beyond the castle entrance. This was followed by drinks, canapés and some music back in the courtyard.
Allington Castle Couple Photos
Leanne and Ray had left some extra time for their photos which is always welcome when couples do that, it’s much more relaxing for them. I had already visited the venue with them so knew the parts they liked the most and the weather was glorious so we were spoilt for choice. They were both so chilled and just enjoyed the time together which is a dream.
The Evening
There were minimal speeches so everyone just relaxed and quite a few started raiding the Photo Booth props and dressing up during the meal! Sparklers were lit and walked through before the dancing began.
It was a glorious, joyful day and everything they hoped for. I so loved spending the day with them and their guests.
