There are lots of quotes out there about surrounding yourself with people who will empower, support, uplift and appreciate you, but this simple version resonated with me this week; it certainly sounds less one-sided.⁠⁠

It's easy to feel isolated as a small business owner but the one thing that's really helped me over the last 10+ years are the friendships that I've made within the wedding industry. These people truly "get it".⁠⁠

We've all had the struggles, the highs the lows the ridiculous and we all learn from one another, support one another and more importantly laugh with one another. I'm not sure I'd be where I am without them.⁠⁠
