Bedgebury Engagement Photographs | Kiri and Wayne
All About Family
I can’t believe it’s just over a week to go to Kiri and Wayne’s wedding!
Time flies by for every couple when they are planning their big day and I hear them say it all the time, but this one is very close to my heart. Kiri is my beautiful niece and I know without a shadow of a doubt that it’s going to be a beautiful day and that I’m going to cry! I did for her sisters wedding so there’s no reason to think it’s going to be any different this time round is there!
They’ll be getting married at the lovely Orangery in Maidstone next weekend and I’m so looking forward to it!
They weren’t sure where to have their engagement shoot so we decided to head into Bedgebury Woods which is a lovely beauty spot that’s often used by dog walkers and is on the other side of the Pinetum. We left the family to walk in one direction and we took Kiri and Wayne in the other! It’s always good to have a bit of peace and quiet for an engagement shoot as couples can often feel a little self conscious. This didn’t so much apply to Kiri and Wayne though as they had been photographed by us quite a few times before so they knew exactly what to expect. I’m glad we all wore our wellies as some of the paths were really muddy and because of that we didn’t walk too far and instead did a relatively short circuit along the paths and through the trees! It was a beautiful sunny but cold day and we made the most of the light streaming through the trees to create some lovely soft and dreamy backdrops for their pictures, it was very romantic!!
Here’s a few pictures from their session.
